Salem Contracting prides itself in the quality of our workmanship and our ability to get the job on time and on budget. Salem has the ability to provide supervision and skilled labour to complete any structural and mechanical installations. Servicing the forest and mining industries, we have an inventory of equipment including cranes from 22 tons to 150 tons, man lifts, forklifts, etc which aid us in providing the needs of our clients.
The team’s experience and capabilities have contributed to a strong reputation for quality work over the years. Salem has established lasting relationships with several area mills and the companies that own them. Whether making facility upgrades or recovering from a crisis, these businesses call in the Salem team to keep plants up and running.
Salem Contracting has worked on many large projects including – Adams Lake Interfor, Grand Forks Interfor and are currently working at Castlegar Interfor. They were the principle contractor for the rebuild at Babine Forest Products in Burns Lake after the explosion in 2012. They were also the principle contractor for the build at Lakeland Mills before the explosion, also in 2012. Salem provided the demo and cleanup after the disaster and then were awarded the rebuild as the prime contractor.
Salem Contracting has also worked on many projects for West Fraser Mills at Fraser Lake, 100 Mile West Fraser, Chetwynd Forest Products, Edson Forest Products, Hinton Forest Products, and Blue Ridge Lumber.
